Nintendo Partner Direct - February 2026

So, the latest Partner Showcase Direct aired this morning. How are we feeling about the things revealed? The biggest announcements were probably:

  • Bethesda games coming to Switch:
    • Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition
    • The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered
    • Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
  • More info on Resident Evil Requiem
  • PRAGMATA (from Capcom)
  • Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (release on Switch 2)
  • Digimon Story Time Stranger (people saying it’s a Pokemon killer)
  • Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales

And then a WHOLE bunch of other games making their way to Switch and Switch 2.

Some other titles:

  • TOKYO SCRAMBLE
  • Orbitals
  • Kyoto Xanadu
  • Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Endless Ragnarok
  • PARANORMASIGHT: The Mermaid’s Curse
  • Turok: Origins
  • Valheim
  • Monster Hunger Stories 3
  • Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters
  • Hollow Knight - Switch 2 Edition (Free upgrade!)

And then there were a ton in the sizzle reel i won’t list here.

I haven’t played many Bethesda games, but I’m happy these are finally coming to Switch. I’m also a big Star Trek fan, so Star: Trek Voyager - Across the Unknown looks really interesting.

If you didn’t watch it, it’s all here:

What is everyone else looking forward to?

Not interested in too much here, but the new Digimon looks pretty interesting. I know that they recently released a new anime, and I’ve heard really good things about it. Digimon Beatbreak (TV 2025) - MyAnimeList.net

Yeah, the Digimon game has gotten pretty good reviews. Metacritic has it at like 78/100 on critics and 9.1/10 on players. Certainly something I’m interested in getting, but who knows if I’ll actually have the time.

The games I’m most looking forward to from the Direct are Eliot, MH Stories 3, Pragmata, and Kyoto Xanadu. Not necessarily new announcements, but at least there are games to play with release dates.

Still need a general direct :sob:

Eliot is the one i’m looking forward to the most out of your list. Though I still technically have to go through Octopath’s sequel lol. I think MH Stories 3 looks nice, but I’m not much of a Monster Hunter fan (though I’ve been told I would love it).

A general direct would absolutely be lovely. I very much want to know what Nintendo’s plan is for the future. At this rate, it seems like Nintendo is going to wait for until after Pokemon Day, which I suppose makes sense due to this year being the big 30th for Pokemon.
