Now, Pokémon has been going on for literally decades. We’ve seen a lot of different Pokémon games and regions. My question is which game do you feel is the best in the series and why?
For me, it’s probably HeartGold and SoulSilver simply because it’s everything that made the pre-3D era solid. It was nostalgia bait (for better or for worse), but it took a good game and made it the ultimate version. I still love how you have your lead Pokémon following behind you, and it can even be Shiny!
The story is solid, the music is fantastic, and the gameplay still holds up to this day. One day, I hope we’ll have the ability to play them on Switch 2 again because the price of a cartridge is nuts.
